How does file storage work in Newbase? How are pdf files created?

A document in Newbase, for example a quotation, is only saved as a PDF when you create a message from the quotation. Newbase does not automatically create PDFs of all documents.

The document is saved on the location that is set in Newbase (linked with Sharepoint or Google Drive). So there are NO PDF's in Newbase itself.

It is also possible to download a PDF without creating a message, but this action saves the PDF to the user's computer and not to the set server path.

You can therefore only open a PDF from Newbase from the message to which the PDF is linked as an attachment.

It is important that you as a user have rights to the relevant Sharepoint or Google environment to save or open files.
