MJA Updated by MJA

1. What is your home screen?

The first screen you see in Newbase when you start up is determined by what is shown at the top left of your screen.

In the example below this is 'Start'.

On the home screen you will see 'module widgets' (red frame). Each module widget has a name that you can give yourself and the module widget contains modules, but it can also contain search actions or dashboards.

2. Change the contents of a home screen

Do you want to customize the home screen? Add module widgets? Delete modules within a module widget? Change the title of a module widget? Change the location of a module widget?

  1. Click on your name at the top right and choose 'change widgets settings' (in Dutch: wijzig widget instellingen)
2.1 Move entire module widget
  1. Click with your mouse in a container and drag it to the desired location.
2.2 Change the title of a module widget
  1. Click on the 3 dots within a module widget > Choose Widget properties (in Dutch Widgeteigenschappen)
  1. Click in the title field and edit the title. You do this in Dutch and English
2.3 Remove module widget
  1. If you want to delete an entire module widget, click on the 3 dots within a container and choose 'delete' (verwijder in Dutch)

2.4 Add an empty new module widget to a home screen
  1. To add a new empty module widget to a home screen, type 'module widget' on the left side of your screen (or a part of this text)
  2. Then, with your mouse, drag the module widget on the left in the list to the desired location on your screen

2.5 Add modules, dashboard or searches in a module widget
  1. Click on the 3 dots within a module widget and choose widget properties (in Dutch: Widgeteigenschappen)
  1. Now you can browse the available modules or search for a module. You can then transfer this to the right. You can also adjust the order. Click save when you're done.

3. Add a new/additional home screen

  1. You can have multiple 'home screens'. For example, 1 with modules, 1 with dashboards, 1 with totals.
  2. Click on your name at the top right and choose 'change widget settings' (in Dutch: Wijzig widget instellingen)
  1. Click on New Item an give the screen a name
  2. The new screen has now been added but is still empty. You will now have to add module widgets to the screen which you can fill again as described earlier

4. Remove a start screen

  1. Select the relevant home screen you want to remove
  2. Then click on your name at the top right and choose 'change widget settings'
  3. Check whether you are really in the selected screen so that you do not accidentally delete the wrong screen
  4. Then click on delete selected main group (in Dutch: Verwijder geselecteerd hoofdgroep)
