What are modules and how to search modules

MJA Updated by MJA

A module is a program part in Newbase. For instance the organizations or sales quotations module. But there are also modules that show a set of records such as 'receipt lines to be matched on purchase invoice or 'time lines to be invoiced'.

Which modules you have access to is determined by your role (privilege group).

You can search/navigate to modules in different ways.

Via the module center:

If you click on this you will enter a screen with all modules that have been distributed to your privilege group.

Via the module finder:

You can navigate to a module via your home screen, the module center or via shortcuts, but you can also search for a specific module.

You can easily and quickly search for modules in Newbase via the icon below:

Your internal Newbase application manager can edit the content and also rename the containers holding the modules. How the application manager can do this is described in another help file.
To be able to work with modules in Newbase, they must be distributed here. If a program has not been distributed, you cannot navigate to it even if there is a link in another module.
