What is a template?

MJA Updated by MJA

Templates are preset pieces of text that can be used by default in documents or messages. Think of start, end or footers of financial documents.

This prevents typing or copying texts again and again and reduces the chance of errors. The user can work more efficiently and faster and the communication to the customer is uniform.

Merge codes can be used in templates so that information from the data to which the message relates can be inserted from other programs within Newbase.

A template is not multilingual, but of course a second template with the same content in a different language can be created.
