Add or remove colums within a widget

MJA Updated by MJA

You can create your own list within a widget or edit an existing list. This way you can decide for yourself which data you see in a widget and in which order.

The adjustments you make apply to everyone in your role.

As an example, we will customize the widget 'Financial lines' within a purchase order. In the example below we will remove the red marked columns.

  1. Make sure you are in a record of the relevant module, in this example a purchase order
  2. Click on your name in the top right corner and choose 'change widgets settings' in the menu
  3. Now find the relevant widget and click on the 3 dots at the top right of the widget and choose widget properties

  1. The pop-up below will now open

If you want to create a completely new list, click the 'New List View' button and give the list a name. You will then add all fields/columns yourself from an empty list using the button add fields.

If you want to change the default list, click on 'Import Standard List View' so that all fields are taken over, which you can then change/remove/add.

You can add columns by clicking on the column name icon. You can see these being added in the background

When you have added all the desired fields, click 'Close'

If desired, you can adjust the sorting by adjusting the numbers in the column sorting, you can also give columns their own title and adjust the width by entering a number of pixels. You can delete a column by clicking on the trash can icon behind the row

Click Save when you're done and then click on Ready.

After modifying widgets you always have to restart Newbase
