Within the 'product settings' widget of a product you can block a product or set it to phased out.
Blocked
If this check box is checked, the product will no longer be shown in the list of active products. To find this product you must search specifically for this field. If blocked the product can no longer be linked to, for example, a quotation. In a list it is shown in grey with a blocked icon.
Phased out
If this check box is checked, the product will still be shown in the product list, but will be crossed out in red. The product can then no longer be linked to, for example, a quotation. You can also enter a phased out date, this is only informative. Newbase does not automatticaly act upon this date.
