Modify / adjust existing payment phasing line

MJA Updated by MJA

1. A payment phasing line no longer needs to be invoiced:

Solution: Set the payment phasing line to 'don't show'. The line will then no longer appear in the search 'to be invoiced' within the Payment phasing line module. You can do this within the 'payment phasing information' widget.

2. A project/order with pay.phasing is canceled and nothing has yet been invoiced:

Solution: Remove the payment phasing rules (and any unlocked invoices) and set the sales order to the canceled stage. You could also choose to delete the sales order from Newbase or set the amount to 0.

3. Part has already been invoiced via pay.phasing, but the rest will no longer be invoiced:

Solution: Because there are invoices linked to the payment phasing lines, you cannot delete them (as above). What you need to do here is indicate in the payment phasing line that it should no longer be shown (see print screen of option 1). This way it will no longer appear in the search query 'to be invoiced'. You can then adjust the stage of the sales order to canceled and/or you can change the amount to 0. The assignment cannot be deleted from Newbase.

4. An order has a pay. phase of fi. 50% / 50% and the 1st invoice of 50% has been sent. Now the customer wants a follow-up invoice of 40% and then a final invoice of 10%:

Solution:

  1. Go to the 50% payment phasing line not yet invoiced
  2. Within the 'payment phasing line info' widget you have the option to enter a different percentage, in this example enter 40%. Adjust the text in the 'customer description' field. If necessary, also enter something in the internal description field
  3. To create an extra line for the remaining 10%, return to the relevant sales order
  4. Within the Payment phasing information widget you can create an extra line via the plus sign at the top right of the widget
