In Newbase it is possible to send an attachment containing information about the product. For example, a sheet with the specifications. Newbase then links the product attachment when a message is created to send. This option can be set for both sales and purchasing.
1. Linking an attachment to a product
Attachments can be linked via the 'linked attachment' widget within the product module. If you do not have this widget, you can ask your application manager to distribute it. Click on the pencil icon to link an attachment. You can also drag a file.
2. Set up the inclusion of a product attachment
If you have linked the attachment to the product and want to include it in your emails, you can set which documents you want to automatically include this attachment with.
- Open the Ref. number module (part of settings)
- Find the relevant module for which you want to set the product attachment to be automatically linked to a message
- Check the box for 'send product attachment'
