Modify widgets (add, move, remove, resize)

MJA Updated by MJA

Changes regarding widgets apply to everyone with the same role and cannot be adjusted at user level. So keep in mind that if you adjust widgets, everyone with the same role will see this.
If you want to change the content of your home screen or other screens that are at the top left of your screen, click here for more information.
  1. Go to a record with widgets of the module for which you want to change widgets. In this example, we take the sales quote module
  2. Click on your name at the top right and choose 'change widget settings'
  3. Now choose whether you want to adjust widgets for the summary screen or the entry screen. Click here for more information about the difference

Remove widget

If you want to remove a widget, click on the 3 dots next to the widget in question and choose 'delete'.

Move Widget

If you want to move a widget, click on a widget with your mouse, hold down the mouse, and drag the widget to the desired location. You will see that other widgets will automatically move.

Add widget > extended widget library

If you want to add a widget or look in the widget library, click on the 'add widget' button

A screen will then open with a library of all available widgets of the module you are in. You can browse through the pages to see which widget you want to add or you can search for a specific widget.

Resize widget

If you want to make a widget larger or smaller, move the mouse to the widget in question, without clicking. You will then see an arrow appear at the bottom right of the widget with which you can make the widget larger or smaller. Widgets have a fixed size with regard to how small they can become.

Adding an (extra) tab to the input screen

Within the input screen, you can work with tabs to distinguish between the different types of widgets. Make sure you have selected 'input screen' and then click on new. A new tab will be added at the back.

With the 'edit' button you can give the tab a title.
