If you link stock products to a sales quotation, nothing happens to the stock, a quotation does not yet give an obligation to deliver.
If you would like to reserve products in stock, this is possible via the 'Reservation Stock' widget. You manually enter the number you want to reserve here. You also enter a date on which the reservation should be cancelled.
Within the stock of the product you can see the reserved quantity on the widget 'Stock sales entity'.
But you can also see this within the product stock locations widget.
It is also possible to set within the company settings how many days a reservation may last. The effective date is the creation date of the sales quotation line, to which the number of days entered in this widget is added.
